Detox December: Day 2 Journal


Day 2 started off wonderfully since I was able to get some amazing sleep the night before. I really think this has to with my increased water intake and really watching what and when I ate the day before.


In case you needed a quick reminder, here is a list of personal commitments that I set for myself for Detox December:

  • Morning Prayer/Meditation

  • Reciting of Affirmations

  • 30-60 Minutes of Exercises

  • 30 Minutes of Reading/Personal Development

  • No Red Meat

  • No Soda

  • Limit Bread/Carbs

  • Limit Sugar

  • Limit Dairy

  • 1 Gallon of Water a Day

  • Consumption of Supplements and Wellness Products

  • Daily Journaling

For Day 2, I completed everything on this list, except journaling. I fell asleep early and completely forgot. For exercise, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and a quick full body workout that I found on YouTube.


I was also sure to use my daily wellness products. I used:

I'm still fighting my cravings for soda and red meat but I stuck to the scripts. I had a couple salads and ate fruit throughout the day.


I caught up on a couple audiobooks for my personal development for Day 2. I listened to Believe Bigger by Marshawn Evans Daniels, and More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth.
